There are some stories that won’t let you sleep at night—and THUG LOVE was one of them. I didn’t write this book to gain sympathy. I wrote it because I knew someone out there needed to hear it. After surviving a traumatic brain injury, battling job instability, and constantly navigating a world that didn’t understand my condition, I knew I had to speak up.
This memoir isn’t just about me. It’s about the people who prayed for me in the hospital, the teachers who saw my potential, the bullies I had to fight off, and the jobs I lost because of something beyond my control. It’s about my daughter, my dreams, and my unshakable faith in God. Writing this was healing. Sharing it is my mission.
